As I promised, Jennifer Jackson .photography. will launch more products in 2012. This is the best advice I can give to anyone who like me, is just starting out with a small business. You need practical products that most people can afford and appreciate. I’ve talked previously about the costs of running a small business and how to price your work, and how to stay on top of the pond, rather than drowning in it.
The first new irresistible vehicle for my photography to debut in 2012 are gorgeous & functional iPhone cases. I have high hopes that these babies will sell like freshly pressed pancakes on “Free Pancake day” at IHOP! Why would anyone settle on boring black, or clear cases when they could be carrying around beautiful scenic images in their pocket (especially on those rainy days — and I guess for some, those snowy days too!) What is better than knowing you just gave your $30 to an independent artist instead of a huge corporation with canned graphics designed by underpaid interns around the globe. I don’t want to sport the same case as a million other people, and I certainly prefer colorful to plain, so I’m hoping my opinion doesn’t stand alone like the cheese.
I made a business decision to only run a limited press of the cases. I want to keep these limited because I don’t want everyone to run into the same problem of having a case that everyone and their brother is sporting. I want to give people something to show-off!
I plan on stocking the cases as long as I can, and adding new photographs — but still keeping limited number of sales on each design. To start off, I am offering 10 different designs. Go check them out!
